Report cards have been sent out via email. 

If you do not see an email, check your junk mail.  If you still do not see an email, you are able to login to your child's Google Classroom. Click on their Post Office, their report will be found there.

Also, if the link works and it tells you the passwork is incorrect, make sure you are entering their birthday as yyyy-mm-dd.  If this still doesn't work, if you're using a phone you may need to try on a computer.

WEEK AT A GLANCE

Dear Families,

We have successfully completed the first 3 months of schools. We would like to extend a huge thank you to our students, staff and families for supporting us through a very unfamiliar time.

Picture Retake:

Photos were sent home today. Our picture retake day will take place on Wednesday, December 2nd 2020. Unfortunately, the pictures for 1 Elson and 2 Ayres are still in transit. We hope to have them and sent home Tuesday, December 1st.  

Covid-19:

Cases continue to increase within the central zone, which reinforces the importance of everyone doing their part to keep our students, staff and families safe. Now more than ever, we need to remain very diligent, ensuring that health checks are completed each morning, and students remain home when they are feeling unwell. We have had some children come to school sick and we cannot stress enough the importance of allowing your child to feel better and be symptom free before they return. Thank you so much!

Arriving on time and belonging drop of:

We recognize that mornings can be a very busy and sometimes stressful time. Given the covid protocols that we have in place, children arriving late need to be walked to their classrooms. To help students transition in to their day smoothly and avoid interruptions to morning routines, we encourage all families to have students to school on time.

Within the past number of weeks there have been more belonging drop-offs. Much like being late, we do recognize that forgetting items does happen from time to time, and we will certainly deliver them to students. However, we do encourage all items to be sent with your child each morning.

Report Cards and Parent Teacher:

Report cards will be sent home electronically on Wednesday, December 2nd. To access your child’s report card, you will enter their year, month and date of birth.

George P Vanier Parking Lot:

With limited parking space available at GPV for staff, we remind all families that you are unable to use their parking lot. We welcome families to use the church parking lot next to Ash Lee Jefferson or you are welcome to enter our parking lot after 8:30 am.
